James was selected for 4Screenwriting and was a finalist on Coming Up. Since then he has developed projects with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free, Addictive Pictures, ITV Studios and Channel 4, and is currently writing a feature film with Creative Scotland and developing a YA supernatural series with Gaumont. In 2019, he won the BAFTA/Rocliffe New Writing Competition for his family script, THE MINISTRY OF UMBRELLAS and for the last two years has been a mentor to writers on the 4Screenwriting long-list.
